Managing Projects

Projects are collections of assets that you may want to manage as a group.

Projects are convenient ways to organize the assets you wish to monitor in to logical groupings. A basic example would be a live streaming channel that is delivered in multiple formats and reaches your audience through multiple content distribution networks (CDNs). In this example, the project would include the following assets:

• HLS Primary CDN
• DASH Primary CDN
• HLS Secondary CDN
• DASH Secondary CDN

By associating this collection of assets to the same project, you can synchronize when you start and stop monitoring them and centralize a view that provides continuous live health monitoring of all these assets in a single dashboard view.
